Location3 Media was named one of the fastest-growing private companies in the Denver area by the Denver Business Journal. We ranked in at the number seven spot on the Flight V list with a 119% gross revenue increase from 2005 to 2007. To even out the rankings (companies ranged anywhere from 7 to 950 employees), the DBJ split local companies into five flights based on 2007 gross revenue ranges.

To make the list, companies must be privately held with a global headquarters located on the Front Range (that’s Denver area, Greeley, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and Boulder, for our non-Coloradoan readers) and a brick-and-mortar presence in the Denver area. The business category of the companies was irrelevant; finalists are from numerous industries, including law, software development, online music, landscaping, general contracting, marketing and tons more.

We attended the award ceremony bright and early this morning, where we received a plaque commemorating the recognition and an advanced copy of the DBJ special section profiling all finalists. It’s great to see so many other hard-working, successful companies in our city and we’re honored to be a part of this great business community.
