It’s a TWISM!
Welcome to another TWISM!! (This week in Social Media for those who are not Twitterfied). Lots of goings on this week: Obama’s stimulous spending infomation is available to the public a la feeds, Yahoo! has added Facebook links into their search results and has also created a technology much like Facebook Connect, TweetMeme gets a revenue model (before Twitter…hmmm), MySpace teams up with Citi to create a MySpace credit card (a credit card for pre-teens??) Facebook lauches their new homepage and pro apps, and finally…wait for it…SKITTLES! Yes, the little rainbow candy has gone where no candy has gone before.

So glad you brought up Facebook poking! Is it supposed to be like Match.com’s wink?
In the Facebook for Blackberry app, when I click on someone from my friend list, “Poke Tarla” (for example) is on top and highlighted as the default action. I live in fear of accidentally poking someone just by clicking too fast!

You are right to feel that way. My opinion of someone declines dramatically if I receive any type of “poke” from them.
