TWISM – Friday the 13th Edition
And what could be scarier than a world without internet? Thank goodness that for the last 20 years (to the day!) we have not had to think of such a horrifying existence. Happy birthday World Wide Web! In other online news, Verizon is offering more web integrated features such as Facebook and Twitter to their TV watching experience, YouTube is blocking premium music content from users in the UK, Flickr strikes a deal with Getty Images (which is called “The Flickr Collection” not “The Flick Creation” as I so brilliantly refer to it), Facebook finally launches the new homepage and Yahoo! advanced search is now adding flash video, games and documents to their repertoire.

If I had gone to college on YouTube, I don’t think I would have gone to college.
If that makes sense.
On the new Faceook, I definitely think there is less content above the fold than before (right now my feed shows stories on only 4 friends above the fold). Also, the left-side menu of views gives me the option to sort by applications that I don’t even have, such as Mafia Wars (what is that anyway?) and Which 80s movie defines you? (who cares??).

Oh, I definitely agree. I wouldn’t mind taking a few classes on YouTube to add some additional credits, but my whole college education, I think not.
