All 10 points listed on that article are very true as, being of hispanic decent myself, I've experienced and been a part of the growing online culture in Latin America and of Latin Americans around the world. We/they all have used MSN Messenger since its beginning stages to either connect with friends which also led to the use of back then, hi5 and now Facebook.

It was very interesting to see how whenever a new phone was released to the public, everyone wanted to have it and wanted to be seen with it. From what I can remember, beginning with the Motorola Startac to the Motorola V50 and getting to the Motorola Razor those were the phones that as soon as they were released everyone wanted it.

The interesting part of it was that it wasn't just young people, from single adults to parents where part of this crazy phone mayhem that still happens today
