Tip of the Week – How To Make Facebook Less Engaging

For many companies, creating a Facebook profile offers many opportunities. Get the word out about a special promotion or sweepstakes. Find out what your customer’s favorite product offering is. Post pictures of your office antics so your clients can see how fun and personable your company is. However, for some companies and industries, an open forum like Facebook is a dangerous space for unwanted criticism and feedback. Ordinarily I would tell them to suck it up, but in some instances the red tape is just a little too thick to be cut that easily.

We received an updated agency newsletter from our rep at Yahoo! yesterday. Within that update was a link to a great website with information regarding the Microsoft/Yahoo! deal. This site includes specifics of the deal, what people are saying and lists the benefits of the deal. Google Local Business Ad Extensions

Local Business Ads will no longer be a separate ad format in place of new feature called Location Extensions which is available to select advertisers starting today with the entire option rolling out in the next few weeks.
