Meet the Authors: Angie Pascale, Communications Manager

Welcome to the last edition of our “Meet the Authors” series. Over the past several months, we’ve featured every employee of Location3 Media that contributes to expertSEM on a frequent basis. I have been putting off the edition about myself because it just feels awkward. (Or maybe I was saving the best for last! I’ll let you decide.) Seriously though, as a PR person, I’m used to writing about and speaking for everyone else. But I guess it’s time to reveal myself! So, without further ado, I’d like to introduce…me! Hi. I’m Angie Pascale. I handle public and social media relations for Location3 and oversee our client’s social media programs. I started at Location3 in December of 2006 as a copywriter, but quickly added PR and marketing tasks to my work load. Due to my experience managing social media programs for Location3 and local advertising organizations (and just geeking out about the industry in general), I took on social media responsibilities early this year. Before joining Location3, I worked at a boutique public relations firm in Los Angeles and I received my bachelor’s in English from Penn State. Meet the Authors: Tarla Cummings, SEO Manager

The Location3 Media employee selected as the subject of this month’s “Meet the Author” series is Tarla Cummings. Tarla is the SEO manager at Location3. She oversees the growing SEO department and formulates all SEO management programs, organizing keyword research, site structure changes, content development and link building efforts. Tarla joined Location3 in the fall of 2008 after moving from Los Angeles. Tarla is a native of Southern California, but had little qualms swapping the beaches for the mountains. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking and skiing. Tarla is also a talented vocalist, currently moonlighting with a local jazz band, Moses Jones. You wouldn’t know it by just talking to her, because she’s extremely humble about it, but dang, this girl’s got some pipes! Read through some of Tarla’s blogs and enjoy these fun facts about her.

Meet the Authors: Stephanie Lee, Account Manager

This month’s lucky employee for our Meet the Authors series is Stephanie Lee. Stephanie is an account manager on the PPC and SEO teams at Location3 Media. She started at Location3 in the Fall of 2009, shortly after moving to the States. Originally from Australia, Stephanie has traveled the globe extensively, making longer stops to live and work in London, Paris and Whistler. Stephanie got started in the SEM industry back in 199, just as Location3 was founded. She worked as an ad traffic manager at Ozemail in Australia. When she’s not optimizing campaigns or lamenting frustrations with the engines on expertSEM, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her three Rottweilers, snowboarding and competing in triathlons. In this month’s issue of “Meet the Authors,” we’re going to profile our newest fearless leader, Alex Porter. After serving as VP for some five years, Alex was promoted to president of Location3 Media at the beginning of February. Essentially, Alex has been carrying out presidential duties for some time; it’s only now been made official. Besides running Location3, Alex is also an active board member with the New Denver Ad Club and helped the Colorado AMA develop their new Digital Dynamics educational webinar series. But Alex isn’t commander in chief in every area of his life—at home, there’s no question that his two boys rule. Read through all of Alex’s blogs and learn some fun facts and quirks about him below.

Meet the Authors: Samantha Bedford, VP, Analytics

Welcome back to our monthly “Meet the Authors” series here on expertSEM. Today you’ll have the chance to learn more about Samantha Bedford, our dedicated, hard-working VP in charge of analytics. Samantha has been with Location3 Media for more than seven years now. She started in 2002 by running pay per click management campaigns. As the campaign manager team grew, Samantha took over as spearhead of that team. In the past few years, she’s begun to focus more on web analytics. In addition to her role as head of the campaign manager team, Samantha now oversee the analytics department. When Samantha is not whipping the CM and analytics teams into shape, she and hubby Charles are training for the title of “World’s Best Parents” with their one-year old son William.
